We build the Rice Water Foaming Face Wash around function, not fragrance or filler. Here is how we think about what goes in — and what stays out.
Every face care formula starts with a benefit — what should this product actually do for skin? From there we work backward to find the ingredients that deliver that outcome, at concentrations that work, in a base that feels good every day.
We do not add ingredients to lengthen a list. We do not formulate around a trend. If an ingredient does not have a clear job in the formula, it does not make it into the bottle.
Everyday use is the test. A formula that works once is not enough. We aim for something you come back to every morning and every evening, without hesitation.

A centuries-old brightening agent now backed by modern dermatology. Fermentation increases bioavailability of inositol, ferulic acid, and amino acids. Helps even skin tone and supports the moisture barrier with regular use.
Rice Water Face Wash02
One of the most studied actives in skincare. Reduces the appearance of pores, regulates sebum production, and gradually fades hyperpigmentation. Works alongside rice water to brighten without irritating.
Rice Water Face Wash03
Lipids that naturally occur in the skin barrier. Topical ceramides help restore what cleansing strips away — particularly important in a face wash used twice daily. Keeps skin intact between uses.
Rice Water Face Wash04
A humectant and skin-soother that draws moisture into the skin and holds it there. Reduces post-wash tightness. Supports the healing of the barrier when skin is stressed or mildly inflamed.
Rice Water Face Wash05
A beta-hydroxy acid that exfoliates inside the pore, not just the surface. Keeps congestion clear with regular use. Used in the Serafine Salicylic Acid Clarifying Face Serum — not in the face wash.
Salicylic Acid Serum06
A foundational humectant in every hydrating formula. Pulls water from the environment into the skin. At correct concentrations it does its job without leaving a sticky finish — a balance we formulated carefully.
